General Artwork Information


Is there an artwork charge?

  • We do provide our customers with FREE custom artwork. However, if you (or your organization) cancel the order for any reason AFTER an art proof is created, you will be charged a $50 cancelation fee.
    For your convenience, if you do proceed with this artwork on ANY future order you will be CREDITED $50 on that order.
  • Artwork proofs are emailed within 1 business day for your approval. Phone notification is made once artwork proof has been emailed. If there is anything you do not like about the artwork proof, please let us know & an updated proof will be emailed to you ASAP. YOU ALWAYS APPROVE ARTWORK BEFORE WE PRINT!
  • Select a design from our design gallery, use your own artwork idea or email us a link of an example. Any design provided or chosen can be modified (change colors, text, make distressed look, etc.). We provide this service ABSOLUTELY FREE.

How much are set-up charges?

  • SCREEN PRINTING: Absolutely FREE if 144+ qty! $25.00 total set-up charge for 12-143 qty. Contact us for set-up charge on 4-color processing.
  • EMBROIDERY: Absolutely FREE if 144+ qty! Letters and/or straight line text: $25.00 total. Logo or specific graphic design: $10.00 per 1,000 stitches.
  • PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS: Contact us, as it varies for each item.
  • No set-up charge on exact apparel re-orders. Set-up charge for promotional product re-orders can vary.

What is camera ready artwork?

  • Black and white image emailed as a JPEG or TIFF in a high resolution (300 dpi). If your image is multi-colored, send one color and one black and white image.
  • A vector image (color or black and white) emailed in CDR, WMF or EPS format.

How do I send artwork to PromoSpark?

  • Email camera ready artwork to Art@PromoSpark.com.
  • Fax artwork to 513-844-2988.

Do you provide artwork proofs?

  • Artwork proofs are emailed within 1 business day for your approval. Phone notification is made once artwork proof has been emailed. If there is anything you do not like about the artwork proof, please let us know & an updated proof will be emailed to you ASAP. YOU ALWAYS APPROVE ARTWORK BEFORE WE PRINT!
  • If the deadline PromoSpark gives you is a problem, please let us know immediately & we WILL work with you. Rush charges only apply if necessary.
  • Please double-check all information on the Artwork Proof: imprint color, imprint size, imprint location, SPELLING & that all aspects of design are included.
  • PromoSpark is NOT responsible for any errors discovered after the product is printed if the errors were contained in the final approved Artwork Proof.
  • PromoSpark is NOT responsible for any setback in delivery or shipping caused by a delay in artwork approval.
  • Each order is printed based on customer’s final artwork approval. Please approve Artwork Proof sheet very carefully to avoid any problems.
  • The artwork proof is our closest representation to give you a general idea of the product you will receive. The item, item color, ink color and artwork size are NOT exact or to scale. Refer to the design details on the artwork proof for exact information.

What else do I need to know about artwork?

  • If design contains an actual photograph, final print result will vary (similar to newspaper print).
  • PromoSpark is not liable for any variances between the colors and graphics displayed on your monitor and the completed product you receive.
  • We reserve the right to display any artwork on our website or promotional material for the purposes of advertising. We reserve the right to refuse to create or print artwork that is unlawful or inappropriate. All artwork becomes property of PromoSpark.
